Chapter Twenty-three
What did you think about Ida's parents' proposal? What did you think of the way Ida reacted to it?
I thought Ida's parent's proposal to replace the trees that were chopped down with new ones was good because at least there would be trees and not just stumps all over the place. I think the way Ida reacted to it was selfish because she didn't care what her parent's had to say she just wanted the old trees back.
I thought the proposal Ida B's parent's did about replacing the trees was a brilliant idea! because no she will have new friends and she can help grow them while they are growin, but I thought Ida B's reaction was self-centered and she probably just didn't want new friends and her heart was telling her not to give into her parents and just say no, to make them feel bad, and Jared's right, she does just want the old trees back because taking those trees down, was like taking a part of her heart down.
I thought the proposal was awesome because she would be able to help raise them and have new friends.I also think her response to it was self-centered [like Julia] because her hart[i think] was trying to tell her no she didn't want new friends and tell her parents no, make them fell bad and ya I think Jared is right to she doesn't want new trees she wants the old ones back.
i think it was a great idea because she has trees and has nature like she wants it but she doesn't have her tree and doesn't have the brook all to her self and the nature cant go back to how it was but with the trees its pretty close.

ReplyDeleteback.
I think Idas parents proposal was great bacause Idas heart MIGHT just cange back. I also think Idas responce was very self-centered.
ReplyDeletei thought it was a great idea because Ida can be around trees but its not the trees she wants.
ReplyDeleteJulia and Jared, very thoughtful responses and well written, too!
ReplyDeleteI see you've chosen to copy someone else again, Tommie.
ReplyDeleteLillie, I'd like to see a better effort.
ReplyDeleteJustin, I think you need to explain yourself more clearly.

ReplyDeleteI thought the proposal was great because they are really trying to make Ida happy, but Ida just does not get what they are trying to do.
