What do you think Ida was feeling when she heard the trees ask, "Why didn't you help us, Ida B?  Why didn't you protect us?"  (p. 122) Be sure to elaborate.

  1. I think she felt angry but at the same time she thoyght there was no way to stop it even when she tryed to.

  3. i think she didn't know what to do and didn't know how to save the trees and was shocked and angry at the same time

  4. I think she felt let down and depressed because she couldn't really do anything to help them, I don't think.

  5. I think she felt like she tried to stop them but she just couldn't and she tried to stop her dad form selling the land so that wouldn't happen to the tress.
