Chapter Twenty-nine
At the end of this chapter, Ida thinks that her "heart was heavier and lighter at the same time." What do you think this meant to her? Why did she feel this way?
I think it meant that she was acting real brave about the situation with Claire. Ida is a girl that is sometimes mean and sometimes she can deal with a problem.
I think it meant that she was very happy and she had done what she had to do, and I think Ida feels this way because right now she did what was right and she can be mean but also know whats right.
I think the reason she had a heavy heart was because Clair didn't talk to her when she appoligized and she had a light heart because she had done the right thing and appoligized to Clair.
I think that she happy she got the out of her system.
ReplyDeleteI think she was proud and happy and it probably felt good to get it out of her system.

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure that any of you addressed both sides of this -- why was her heart both heavier and lighter at the same time.
