Chapter Twenty-five
Please explain why Ida chose not to read aloud to her class.
She was probably justbeing the rude Ida B and didn't want Claire to try and make a move at making fun of her, but in my mind I would think by now Ida B would probably stop trying to think that Claire is trying to get back at her, because Claire is a good kid and wouldn't do that.
I think Ida did not want to read because she did not want to show that she is nice in front of Clair. THen Clair would know she wasn't mean and not care what Ida said because she knows that Ida is not mean after all.
It would make if Ida missed up when she read in front of the class she would she thinks her class mates would make fun of her and Ida said she did not want to read because she didn't feel good and Mrs. W said mare another day.
she probibly didn't want clair to have an open chance to make fun of her and she probibly didn't want clair to see her.

ReplyDeleteTommie and Lillie, why would reading aloud give Claire an opportunity? I think you need to reread this chapter.
