Chapter Ten
Ida B. often goes to the trees and the brook when she feels conflicted. Why do you think she does this? Do the trees and brook really speak to her? What do you think she's hearing?
I think she does this because it's her place that she feels comfortable at. I don't think the trees and brooks really speak to her. I think she is hearing her conscience.
I think she does it because since she is home schooled she didnt make any friends so she has no one else to talk to about her feelings, I think in her mind the brook and the trees are talking to her because she believes that they do as well. I think she is just hearing herself, just in a different way.
