Chapter Ten

Ida seems to be struggling with figuring out just what her relationship with Tom should be like.  She thinks to herself that “she had become more his teacher and less his friend” and that “It didn’t feel right.”  What do you think Ida should do about this situation?  How do you think Tom feels about it?  Please explain your thinking thoroughly.

  7. Some good thinking, but remember, Tom told Ida, "don't go forgetting who you are. It'll make it harder for you. And your friends." Do you think Ida is forgetting who she is?
