Ida seems to be struggling with figuring out just what her relationship with Tom should be like. She thinks to herself that “she had become more his teacher and less his friend” and that “It didn’t feel right.” What do you think Ida should do about this situation? How do you think Tom feels about it? Please explain your thinking thoroughly.
I think out of school she is his friend and in school she is his friend but not she has to do teacher work.
ReplyDeleteshe is best friends with tom for a long time so that shouldnt change even though now she is her teacher
ReplyDeleteI think Tom feels sad and Ida is going to make him her isistant teacher
ReplyDeleteI think Tom is a little depressed but is holding it in and soon he is just going to blow.
ReplyDeleteI think she is friends with Tom outside of school and when their in school she's his teacher except for recess then she's his friend also and I also agree with Tommie about how he is holding it all in.
ReplyDeleteany ways Ida probably wont change their friendship
ReplyDeleteSome good thinking, but remember, Tom told Ida, "don't go forgetting who you are. It'll make it harder for you. And your friends." Do you think Ida is forgetting who she is?
