Chapter Ten

On page 79, Ida’s father asks her, “How do you wanted to be treated, like a kid or a grown-up?”  Ida has trouble answering, or even knowing the answer to this question.  Why do you suppose this is?  Please explain your thinking.

  2. I think she wants to be treated like a adult although she is a kid but has a adult job. The reasons I think this is because she likes to be treated like she is older than she is.

  3. I think she can't answer to his question because she's only a kid and a lot of times kids do not know how to answer to questions like that. And she is a kid doing a adult job which is really hard.

  8. I think if she says "I want to be treated like a grown-up",then her father might give her more chores because adults have more responsibility than kids.
