Chapter Sixteen
Please reread the conditions that Mr. Jordan imposed on page 132. What do they mean? Do you think they are fair? Why or why not?
I think the conditions mean that if one of the kids or more don't pass their test then he is going to tell the whole valley that it wasn't the school boards fault, it was Ida's. I don't think they're fair because I don't believe that everyone of those kids will pass that hard test.
Mr. Jordan's conditions mean that if everyone does not pass the test, that everyone will know that it is Ida's fault. I don't think these conditions are fair because I don't think everyone will pass the test.
